TMJ (Jaw Pain) – The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is the sliding hinge connecting your jawbone to your skull. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome – This common syndrome causes numbness or tingling in the hand and arm caused by a pinched nerve in the wrist. Hiatal Hernia (Stomach) – The space where the esophagus passes through the diaphragm is sealed by a thin membrane. A hiatal hernia occurs when that membrane weakens and part of your stomach herniates though.
